Reviews of The Old Castle Hotel
Cheap and large room with an own bathroom. Comfortable position just next door to the circular " Tower ", and the beach, the Rodwell trail, great views. Also, to be honest if you stay above a pub.
This hotel surprised us with its value for money. We were treated to spacious and bright rooms, complete with comfortable beds and ensuite bathrooms. The staff were amazing and friendly, making our stay even more enjoyable. The location of this hotel was perfect for exploring the nearby attractions, and we loved the convenience of having a pub and Thai restaurant on-site. The breakfast, although continental, included tasty croissants and fruits.
All was great, nothing to complain about.
there is a good food option within 700 ft - sandsfoot cafe. perfect for vacation.
Room was a good value. The location was right by some tourist destinations like sea life centre weymouth.
This hotel offers great value for money, with affordable prices for clean and basic rooms. The staff are friendly and welcoming, treating guests like locals. The location is ideal, with a scenic walk into the town center. The Thai restaurant within the hotel serves amazing food, cooked to perfection.
All aspects of this hotel were satisfactory.
the rooms were all reasonably large and en suite with 4 beds. the hotel was nice and in a residential location next to the best thai restaurant in the whole of dorset.
Great location near beach and transportation. Cleanliness and hotel facilities were great. Breakfast was delicious and staff were friendly and helpful.
All was good.
The double room we were allocated in was brand-new. Got comfy bed and tea/coffee making equipment, a multi-channel television and ironing facilities.
Lovely hosts, well-located, revitalized property, comfortable and well-decorated rooms, swift and reliable Wi-fi, timely and plentiful breakfast, nice bar area with sitting-out area.
Absolutely nothing to say about dislikes.
Freshly refurbished room, comfortable stay, plenty of hot water, friendly and helpful owners, well-located near Rodway trail, easy parking, lovely hosts, revitalized property, well-decorated room, swift and snag-less Wi-fi, plentiful and lovely breakfast, spacious bar area, clean and tidy sitting-out area.
Nothing negative to say.
The hotel's location is peaceful, close to the sea front in down town and Brewers Quay, the best Thai restaurant and the Rodwell suburb, which is about a 15min walk to town. The units are good-sized and brand-new with 4 beds...
Liked having marvellous breakfast.
The rooms were en suite and neat here with four TV, 2 single beds plus bar.
The location was quiet and the staff members were amicable. Also, Discovery was 1 km away, perfectly reachable. The room was a nice size and cheap, had lovely own bathroom. We greatly enjoyed good food.
Had a Christmas stay with family at this hotel. The staff were friendly and welcoming. They had a good variety of biscuits and tea in the room. Location was perfect for exploring the town center and the nearby sights. Also, the breakfast was well prepared.
The hotel room was poor quality. The beds were uncomfortable, the room was cold, and the bathroom was dirty with a leaking shower.
The double room we were allocated in was cheap. Had quiet location to the sea front in down town.
